Dr. Koenig is a graduate of Bishop McGuinness High School. He received his BS in Exercise and Fitness Management at the University of Central Oklahoma and earned his Doctor of Chiropractic from Cleveland Chiropractic College in Kansas City.
Prior to entering chiropractic school, Dr. Koenig managed Gold’s Gym on Broadway and Memorial for 11 years. Besides management duties, Dr. Koenig was a certified personal trainer and nutrition technician, working with clients to attain and maintain their quality of life and fitness goals.
This experience led him to pursue a chiropractic career, so he can help people attain a better quality of life through natural and holistic health care. Dr. Koenig's fitness and athletic background allowed him to develop a healthcare philosophy of total body health and wellness care. His patients are not just treated for back pain or headaches; they receive full health and wellness care, utilizing educational consultations to help enhance all aspects of daily life through healthier living.
His background allows him to work with all ages and levels of patients, from newborns to retired farmers, and from weekend warriors to elite athletes. He knows patients have individual healthcare needs and goals and believes they should have options. That is why, at PMO, patients are given individualized health care plans to match their level of needs and commitment to health.
